D&G go all Tartan – Plaid with everything

You would be forgiven for thinking that D&G had scottish roots because their latest womenswear collection backed up by an extensive ad campaign has gone all tartan. Plaid, the name stylists prefer over “tartan”, derives from the gaelic word plaide and means a patterned blanket. It does not sound like leading edge fashion and I cannot help thinking that these D&G garments wouldnt look out of place on the parcel shelf of your grans Nissan Sunny. Despite my initiaI reservations I guess Kate Moss pulls this plaid dress (SD0403 TNCA7) off in style. As with all D&G however you will struggle to find an extensive womenswear stockist in the UK.
