Marks & Spencer tax bigger bra’s
I’ve just been reading on the BBC News website that Marks & Spencer is having to defend themselves for taxing bigger than DD cup bras. Apparently a protest group has been set up on Facebook called “Busts for Justice” who are arguing it is unfair to tax larger items of lingerie as it doesn’t apply to other clothing items, although you could argue that it does with children’s clothes. Marks & Spencer say that it’s a normal practice across the industry and it is to allow for the extra material and specialist work that goes into producing larger bras. Fair point I would say as you have to admit that Marks & Spencer are high street leaders when it comes to producing well fitting lingerie. Unfortunately being an AA cup means I am personally not affected by this tax and would welcome the chance to have to spend more on my undies!!!

We don’t actually sell anything on this website, if you click on the Marks & Spencer link in the article it will take you to their website where you will find all their products. Good luck.

Marks & Spencer have admitted that they have ‘boobed’ on their larger bra pricing policy and have now backed down after pressure from ‘Busts For Justice’. All bras will now be the same price reagardless of size. Well done girls.
