You can then wear with some funky red shoes to really dress the whole outfit up. You could try and match the red in the jacket to a red skirt or dress which should be fairly easy as the check pattern means it's easier to get away with something that's not an exact match. Since the weather has turned so cold you could layer the top with a skinny rib polo jumper, but make sure you keep the sleeves skinny to keep the look sleek.
