High Heeled Art from Mark Schwartz

Ok, I’m not bringing you an actual shoe you can wear here, but for all of us who just adore shoes, we don’t actually have to put them on to enjoy them, they are a piece of art.  Remember Rose (Toni Collette) in the film In Her Shoes?  A whole closet full of the most beautiful shoes, just to look at them made her feel a million dollars.  Well shoe designer Mark Schwartz (encouraged by Andy Warhol and Roger Vivier no less)  produces works of art encompassing a real love of shoes in flamboyant colourful paintings.  Set yourself an hour or so aside to take a look at his work on the website, highheeledart.com, because just as soon as you find yourself a painting you love, curiousity makes you look at the next page, and the next and you will have trouble deciding which is your favourite.

    OMG….I am in love with this artist!!!! He is so unique and creative, and I am so happy I was able to purchase one of his paintings.

    He is truly a very inspired artist, and I a look forward to seeing much more of him.
