White mid length winter coat from Peacocks

With the days getting colder and the winter months drawing in, it’s time to think about a warm winter coat.  This white mid length coat from Peacocks is a high street, credit crunch winner at £30.  It’s double breasted and has a drop waist belt detail with a 60’s inspired ring buckle.  It’s great to wear as a smart coat for work, but works equally well as a casual coat with jeans and boots.  My big worry about a white coat is that it will show up every dirty mark you might get on it and I don’t fancy paying out for dry cleaning costs and the hassle of losing your coat for a few days, but this one is machine washable which makes it a perfect coat in my book!
