Cream Laces Dresses – Designer Versus High Street
Nothing says romance quite like a cream lace dress and this stunning creation by Valentino ticks all the boxes for style, romance and red carpet WOW factor, but of course it also ticks the box for the ‘jaw dropping, empty your bank account’ designer price tag. The beautiful embroidered tulle and lace mini dress has beading on the shoulders and a sheer back, it’s available from NET-A-PORTER for £5015.
There is no doubt that this dress will beat any high street designs hands down for it’s style and quality and if money was not an issue I would buy this over any high street design any day. Howver us mere mortals who live in the real world and could cover a few mortgage payments with £5k so off to the high street we go.
First off this cute AX Paris lace tiered dress from Oli comes in at just £35. It’s a simple sleeveless dress with round neck and cut out detail on the back with tie detail.
Still sticking with the tiered theme this dress is actually a crochet style from Warehouse, but you get the same kind of look. It’s 100% silk and comes with a slip. This is my favourite of the high street dresses and comes in at £65.
Finally the cheapest of the high street lace dresses is this one from New Look that comes in three different colours, black, ecreu or pink summer blush, for £25. It has short sheer slevves and a pretty bead trim to the V neckline.
