The BBC News website is running the story about Mark Fast using size 12-14 models on the catwalk of his London Fashion Week show, hurrah for him. It’s about time someone stood up to the fashion convention of using stick thin models and has the confidence to show their designs on real, NORMAL, size women. Apparently his stylist and casting director walked out on the show when they disagreed over the use of these ‘larger’ models, I do hope they are feeling ashamed of themselves now and I do hope that what Mark Fast has done will open the door for other designers to follow suit, we know they are very good at following fashions!

Check out the Mark Fast website for the Autumn/Winter 09 collection and you can buy from Browns, my favourite is this mini dress with cutout detail costing £605.
