Laura Bailey

This Morning’s fashion stylist Helen Boyle bought us some of the highlights from the Baftas red carpet and showed us how to get the look on the high street.  For me the best one she did was to copy Laura Bailey’s look with a dress from Monsoon Bridal.  I think Laura Bailey looked stunning in her Stella McCartney one shoulder dress, although she has been accused of looking drab, however the Monsoon dress picked by Helen did look equally stunning and is this one of those occasions where the high street beat designer.  I’m sure Helen must have been taking some notes from Gok Wan, and my he would have been proud as she took one shoulder off the dress to achieve the same look and draped it over the other shoulder for a grecian inspired look.  The dress is the Darcy Maxi dress from the bridal collection and costs £200, although it’s from the wedding dress collection, mixing it with the black clutch and black jewel accessories prevents it from looking too weddingy!
